A few weeks ago i attended a David Rovics concert ( who turned up late and i only caught one actual song ) and while there i learned that the folk club he was playing at was promoting a political protest song contest . The songs are all here and can be downloaded . Quite a number and quite a selection .
I was pleasantly surprised to come across a couple by an old friend from the 70s and an ex-SPGBer , Bob Leslie . His entered songs can be got here , Gates of the Promised Land , and also here , Beans 'N' Beer.
