Many thanks for the Inveresk Street Ingrate for informing me that this blog has been listed as the 299th in the list of 500 Top Political blogs . How that corresponds to actual numbers of voters- who knows .
If i had known i would have of course would have voted for myself and crept up a few more places . [ or recommended voting for Socialist Courier , a fine SPGB blog from its Scottish branches , or for the Socialist Banner , a Socialist blog that concentrates on African news- stories ]
But anyways , there will be a short intermission while Mailstrom goes on his hols .
