Britain ranks 23rd among 43 more developed world's nations in terms of child well-being, behind countries such as Slovenia, Estonia and Greece, a charity has said. The charity, Save the Children, has described the UK's placement as a "national embarrassment". Children's well-being in developed countries was measured according to three main factors, including pre-primary enrolment, secondary school enrolment and under-five mortality rate.
