I thought i share another blog's comments on another family's individual painful misfortune , in this case , the abduction of Madeleine McCann .
How , indeed , the world's media forgets the wider picture and turns a convenient blind eye to the suffering of many others ,and concentrates its attention upon the one story , often for the simple mercenary reason of circulation figures rather than true compassion.
How must it feel for those who are dismissed as a non-story , not worthy of a news report .
